It doesn’t matter if you eat three times a day, or six times a day, or whatever. The only time your meal times are important are immediately pre-workout, immediately post-workout, or if you’re doing intermittent fasting. Think about it. If you told a big guy whose maintenance calories are 3,000 a day to eat three times a day, that is three MASSIVE, probably uncomfortable 1,000cal meals. If you tell a small girl, whose calories are 1,200 a day, to eat six times a day, that’s six tiny 200cal meals- or, a couple of bites for snacks and no real substantial meals. Eat when it’s convenient for you. Don’t let people tell you when you HAVE to eat, because that’s crap. Everyone is different, and most of that stuff is “broscience”. Six meals = three meals = one meals. My God, if our ancestors’ metabolisms crashed if it wasn’t fed every three hours, our race would have burned out FOREVER ago.
